Gotham S02E08 Recap

Talk about reunion between exes. And no single moment of it was pleasant. Makes you wonder, with all the drama, how do they end up together. Oops! I just dropped a spoiler. Well, it is something all
Gotham lovers, or ex-lovers should know. In the comics, Barbara's last name  is Gordon. They still get to get married. Makes me sad for Lee though as she watches her beloved boyfriend kiss his ex. 'Twas just playacting he said. Should we believe him? I dunno.

Love and the future apart and let's focus on he presnet as Barbara's plot to kill Jim blows up in her face, well, all over her body. "Half a dozen bones and a concussion" Human nature in Lee definitely says "serves her right" on the inside. And what talk is about to happen? I think we all know that.

Theo Galavan's big scheme turns out to be basic. Wanna collect something dear to someone? First, make them trust you. Second, offer them something the want the most. Trust me, people always value what they don't have more than what they have. Bruce escaped what could have been the worst mistake of his life, thanks to Alfred's guidance. And now all the big bad guys have found their misfortunes.

If you think I forget about the Riddler and "Mr. Pengiun" you're definitely right, no, not definitely. almost! Amost right. What kind of disaster would the relationship between both of them cause, or would they be immediate enemies (which is highly unlikely). Find out in the all new episode of
Gotham next week.

Scorpion S02E08 Recap

Talk about the aliens in Area 51. No? Well at least, defintely some publicly unknown shii going on as our favourite genius team, Scorpion carries out their next mission there. Their first covert mission from the CIA. If you guessed the CIA double-crossed them, you're definitely right, and definitely a genius. 'Cause even Toby couldn't predict that even after he's predicted a lot of stuff thrughout the day. But, trust Walter to use his genius skills to bail them out, and this time it was a bluff he didn't know was a bluff, crazy, right?

Not as crazy as Scared Big boy standing up to Walter again over his sister. She's getting worse and Walter wants an aggressive treatment but she doesn't want to continue living that way. Painful, huh? Her MS (for those of you wondering what MS means, it is a  disease in which the insulating covers of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord are damaged. This damage disrupts the ability of parts of the nervous system to communicate, resulting in a wide range of signs and symptoms, including physical, mental, and sometimes psychiatric problems.) is causing several other diseases that are terrible. Talk about being unlucky. But, Walter definitely has a plan. Do you believe he can save his sister? Let us know in the comment section. Personally though, I would love to see more of Megan.

Supergirl S01E03 Recap

The interview with Cat finally happened! And boy, is Cat Grant a bitch?  After Cat revealed Kara's slip that she and Superman are actually related, she decides to go on to publish a magazine in which
she wrote "very well crafted horrible things" (in Alex's voice) about Kara. Talk about planning a party for the unveiling of your own murder, 'cause Cat asks Kara to organize the launching of the magazine.

And while she's doing this she definitely has to fight the Reactor, superman's nemesis. An human that can fly and shot balls of energy from his chest is still human though, according to DEA. Well, they are right. Doesn't matter though 'cause Supergirl was gonna bring him DOWN! or so she thought until he beats her clueless. Might have been worse had Superman not swoop in to save his cousin. Sorry we only got to see the cape  this time guys, maybe later. And in case you didn't notice, Kara was actually in the Fight or Flight situation. She definitely chose to fight maybe because she had to prove her boss wrong that when things got difficult, she would run to Superman for help. She didn't run though, just saying. So, this wasn't a happy moment for Kara, but at least now she has set her boundaries.

This recap would not be complete if we didn't discuss the growing love triangle among Winn, James and Kara. Kara definitely likes James, but his ex, Lucy Lane (yes, Lois Lane's sister) is a problem. One of those moments you wished you were the super-villian, you'll just take the obstacle away from the equation. What are Winn's chances of getting the girl and what happens between Kara and Jimmy Olsen. Find out in the all new episode of Supergirl next week. And tell us who you'd prefer with
Kara, Jimmy or Winn.

Blindspot Recap

Big secrets revealed in "Persecute Envoys"/"Suspect Everyone" of Blindspot yesterday. We all know that Kurt Weller is "pretty sturrbborn" but at least he manages to forgive his boss, which was a bit tough. And initially after he's heard the full story of daylight, he suspected every action she made. Thanks to Jane Doe or Taylor Shaw or nor, he realized he might be a bit judg-y.

Differences aside, FBI closes another case with the help of the tattoo on Janes's body. Dirty cops that kill other cops. Nasty! Well, thanks to the big boy. My guys in Brooklyn won't to be worried again.

And now we know what daylight really is. Talk about "collecting deputies" (in Tom Carter's voice). A collection of the Deputy Assistant Director of the FBI, Deputy Executive of the CIA and the Deputy White House Political Director. But the question in all of our heads right now is Sofia Verma (Bethany Mayfair's lover) really dead. Find out in the all new episode of Blindspot next week.

Kurt Weller finally has a drink with his bad. Bad blood over. Whew!

Jane Doe finally gets to have drinks with friends. She's having problem finding her favourite drink though
This is a very good one to see. Jane and Tasha in the training room
Woah! We coould have thought right. But, looks like Bethany's found her lover

Clues on Blindspot

On NBC's Blindspot, the clues to Jane's (Jaimie Alexander) identity are hidden in plain sight - via the tattoos that someone has inked all over her body. They just need a little decoding.
But guess what, Blindspot fans? The same is true for the show itself. Is Jane really Taylor Shaw? Who kidnapped her, and why? And which FBI agents can be trusted? The answers to these mysteries may be buried in the show's weird episode titles.
Here's everything you need to know about NBC's Blindspot
The episode names, which sound a bit nonsensical on the surface (see: "Eight Slim Grins," "Authentic Flirt"), are actually anagrams - and they offer some major insight into what's happening on the show.
Here are a few examples:
-The title of the pilot ("Woe Has Joined") becomes "Who Is Jane Doe."
-Episode 2 ("A Stray Howl"), in which we learned about Weller's childhood friend who went missing, is an anagram for "Taylor Shaw."
-Episodes 7 and 8 ("Sent on Tour" and "Persecute Envoys") translate to "Trust No One," "Suspect Everyone." (In Episode 7, which aired last week, for instance, Weller discovered that Mayfair had been lying to him all along about her association with Guerrero. Trust no one indeed.)
Blindspot creator Martin Gero told Variety last month that the anagram titles, when put together "spell out a single message, starting from the first episode on." According to one Reddit user, the titles of the first 10 episodes (with a little punctuation added) could look a little something like this nifty poem:
"Who Is Jane Doe? / Taylor Shaw, the missing girl? / Or maybe not / The past will cloud our eyes / Trust no one / Suspect everyone / Lift the curtain / And unveil the mastermind."
By that interpretation, we should be getting some major answers in Episode 10 ("Evil Handmade Instrument" / "Unveil the Mastermind"), which will air on Nov. 23 and is presumably the final episode before the show goes on a holiday hiatus.
What do you think, Blindspot fans? Do the hidden messages change the way you view the show? Were you aware that the episode titles are anagrams?

Quantico's Yasmine Al Massri Talks About the Twiins

Quantico is officially seeing double.
On Sunday's episode, Miranda (Aunjanue Ellis) revealed Nimah and Raina's (Yasmine Al Massri) identities to the rest of the NATs. Meanwhile, in the present, Alex (Priyanka Chopra) and Simon (Tate Ellington) located Raina in Queens, who revealed that she and Nimah have been infiltrating an Islamic terrorist cell in the house across the street, and it was Nimah who was in the Grand Central surveillance footage. But Nimah's not behind it -- nor is she dead as Raina had assumed after not hearing from her -- she's just been following (and sleeping with) the group's leader, Hamza (Michael Aronov), who was planning to target an American landmark, and has been in the group's house this whole time.
During a twin swap, Hamza told Raina-as-Nimah that his attack hasn't been executed yet and he wants to skip town with her. But before anything can happen, the FBI bust in on Team Alex -- thanks to Shelby (Johanna Braddy) blowing their cover -- and all hell broke loose. Natalie (Anabelle Acosta) let Alex and Ryan (Jake McLaughlin), who got shot, run away, but what will the twins do?
Al Massri tells us what we can expect now that both twins are out in the open in both timelines.
Right before Ryan gets shot, Nimah and Raina both had this look on their faces that was mad and scared because they might still be or be thought of as guilty. How were you playing that for each of them?
Yasmine Al Massri: Well, I'm starting to know Nimah and Raina better now. Raina is a compassionate, forgiving person. She thinks she can change things for the better because of her faith. She's kind of innocent. Nimah is more angry. She loves the Western culture. She doesn't want to be compromised by anything, whether it's man or religion. She doesn't mind a conflict in order to win. So knowing that is the infrastructure. When Ryan and Alex find them, Nimah and Raina know they're innocent. They were on an undercover mission for months. There's no doubt in their minds they're innocent. The first thing that motivated me in those future scenes was how worried I am about my sister. It was about protecting my family. They'd each die to save each other. And the second thing was Alex and her accusing them, because the three of them are the brown girls.
It was very pot/kettle of her since he had called everyone out for accusing her of the attack because she's the brown girl.
Al Massri: Exactly! They think of Alex as one of their own. To have Alex doubt us, it's out of line. How can you doubt us? We are in this together. That's the challenge of the twins being suspects. I get so many messages from fans now saying, "Yeah, we know the Muslims are gonna be the terrorists like usual." I'm so happy that people will now see that Nimah and Raina were on an undercover mission that actually serves and protects the United States of America.
Are they really innocent though? Could they be working with Hamza even if they're not behind Grand Central?
Al Massri: I think that's the interesting thing. I think right now they are [innocent]. At the same time, all the NATs are suspects. This is the beauty of Josh Safran's writing. Each one of them is very suspicious. I like this ambiguity because it allows people to rediscover each character and where they come from. ... Each episode is flipping people's perspectives. Now it's Nimah and Raina's turn to surprise people. Are going to help Alex now? I think they really do see Alex as one of them.
Will we see more Hamza and each of their relationships with him?
Al Massri: They're so different in how they approach things. They know that he has a plan that is against America and a location of importance. Raina looks at Hamza as a man she can change. She's heartbroken after her experience with Simon. Raina has compassion for Hamza. Nimah is just using him to get information. She has no problem killing him. The mission is now interrupted. I don't know what's gonna happen. I'm still waiting to see if there will be another encounter with Hamza. For the moment, he's shot and I don't know what happens.
Is Hamza the one who recruited Miranda's son Charlie?
Al Massri: Wow, that's a good question. I hadn't thought of that! I don't know. I did not relate those two together because when Miranda's in jail and Ryan asks her about the twins' contact, Miranda tells him, "You have to be careful. They're not the same people they were in the academy and the mission is not on anymore." When I asked Josh about that, he didn't mention anything about Charlie. Maybe! I'm gonna ask Josh later.
What happened between the twins and Simon in between the timelines? Did he and Raina simply have a bad breakup?
Al Massri: [Laughs] I don't really know, but their relationship is very complicated. Now that they are revealed to the class, Simon is gonna see the differences. There will be a moment where he's like, "Wait. Who is who? Who is the girl that I like?" This is gonna be very tough on Simon. He fell in love with a mix of both. He doesn't know which one said that word, which one looked at him in a certain way. Raina is the one who fell in love with him. Nimah doesn't hate him. She likes that he's smart. They're actually very similar. In the previous mission, Nimah said she doesn't like coffee and Simon doesn't like it either. It's just small things that show up that they're very similar. I don't think she's interested in him the same way Raina is because he does not surprise her.
Simon could fall for Nimah now, but Raina is still in love with him. It'll be a big love triangle.
Al Massri: [Laughs] Maybe! I like that!
Nimah pushed Miranda to tell everyone that she and Raina are twins. Is Miranda going to regret it? She wanted them switching because of her top-secret mission.
Al Massri: I think Miranda is becoming more vulnerable. ... I think Miranda is really trying to teach us how to trust each other. Every test has been about: Can you put your life in the hands of your colleagues? Miranda is trying to teach us about sacrifice for your country and each other. That conversation between her and Nimah about "How do you expect us to put our lives in each other's hands when we cannot trust each other about who we are?" hit her strong. What Nimah said, I think, really got to Miranda's head and heart. I think it made her say, "Yes, it makes sense to tell everyone." Now, there may be another agenda that I have no idea about! If there are any secrets and twists, Josh will be the one who reveals it later. I like to think this is genuine. Nimah trusts Miranda. She looks at her as an ideal.
I like that even though Raina was the one pretending to be Nimah, it's Nimah who walked into the class with a new identity: herself. She had her hair down and everything.
Al Massri: Yeah! Get the hair out, get the lipstick out! She's finally able to be herself and just herself. And you see Raina is being herself, which is the complete opposite.
Everyone knows they're twins now. What is the dynamic going to be like at the academy?
Al Massri: Nimah is immediately with the popular girls with Alex and Shelby. It was very hard for her to be away from them and the modern her. The moment she gets to be herself, she wants to be with the girls she can identify herself with. Raina will be more isolated. She's the one who's different. She's the one who cannot go out and have fun and all that.
Nimah and Raina are fiercely loyal to one another even when there is tension between them, but do you think they'd ever betray each other?
Al Massri: I really don't know. The great thing about Quantico [is] everyone is a suspect. There is the fear you could be the bomber, but it's happening in a democratic platform. If you are the bomber, it will be because of your decision, you're judged in Quantico because of your actions, not your background.
What has it been like for you playing two characters who are playing one character in two timelines?
Al Massri: Technically, it's very hard. I have to run between the scenes, switch to the other. Now that they are revealed, I have a lot of scenes with the group. We have to shoot the same stuff and I have to switch Nimah and Raina, and I usually have five minutes to switch. It's a crazy adrenaline moment. When I go back home, I'm very proud. ... Being a woman, sometimes you have your period and you want to kill the first person who says hello. You can go from bitchy to nice, depending on the moment and the people and the circumstance, so to be able to play these human colors across two people, I like that. Me wanting to honor Nimah and Raina is what scares me the most. Raina has a faith. She's proud of her religion. I know people are looking at Raina and they're surprised. They haven't seen such a positive hijabi woman on an American TV show on a network like ABC. I want to honor the character more than how many of them there are.
Who do you think the bomber is?
Al Massri: First, I thought it was Sita, Alex's mother. I don't trust Clayton [Mark Pellegrino]. I don't want it to be any of the NATs. I'm too involved emotionally in all of them. I tell Josh not to make it one of us. It has to be us against the world!
Quantico airs Sundays at 10/9c on ABC.

Blinspot Season 2 Will Happen!

It's November, no shows have been officially canceled, and we have our first new fall show to get a guaranteed second season. This television season is wacky!
Blindspot, one of the few bright television series has been guaranteed a second season by NBC.  This might be a little bit early for such a promotion, but Blindspot has done everything to deserve it and when you think about it, it was going to happen one time or the other. And NBC were like "Screw it, we are doing it now".
The show ranks as the number-one new show in the 18-to-49 demo with a 3.7 rating and a 12.7 million overall audience when DVR numbers are added, thanks to generally favorable reviews and a cushy time slot behind The Voice.
In case you didn't know, the show has a ridiculous premise: the FBI finds a naked woman (Jaimie Alexander) inside a duffle bag in Time Square with no recollection of who she is or how she got there. Her body is covered in tattoos, each of which corresponds to different crimes and a greater conspiracy! Then the cops go catch bad guys. Sullivan Stapleton, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, and Rob Brown also star.
Do you think Blindspot deserves a second season?
Blindspot airs Monday nights at 10pm on NBC.

Quantico S01E08 Review and Pictures

The recruits take their midterms despite the tension between the close ones among them; Caleb and Shelby; Alex and Ryan; Nimah (and Raina) and Simon. It was another twisted mind-blowing test for the team. But, some people do not make it, most notably, Elias Harper who had a crush on Simon only for it to become something else. Furthermore, we finally know how Assistant Director Haas and Shelby meet. Though it was an awkward situation the first time, it was very neat the following  time and by the third time she is able to convince him to give Caleb a chance. Whereas Alex continues with her displeasure with Ryan Booth, thank God they are able to make-up. The 'situation' between the twins and Simon has gone from great to, well, very bad. Things became better though after the twins were finally revealed to everyone. Yes, they were. and less than 9 months later, a 'moment' happens between him and Raina (the one that really likes him). Still on the twins, which one of them is really a terrorist? None of them. We can now rule them both out too! We've seen a lot of twist in Quantico, we don't really believe whatever we see any longer. But, no problem, we can wait till the season finale to know the truth, how Ryan survived being shot at and what happens to Shelby and Simon.
